Save Our Shelter Dogs is a small group of dedicated volunteers based in the northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area. For over a year, we have been focusing on pulling dogs from shelters when their euthanization date looms near and then fostering these sweet animals in our homes until they find their forever families. We have many happy "tails" of dogs who have found loving homes. The shelters in our area are sadly still filled to capacity and beyond, however, so we continue working to save lives, one dog at a time.
This blog was created as just one more way to spread our message and publicize the dogs we have available for adoption. We will also let you know about our upcoming events. We cannot exist without those who have supported us through our fundraisers and the adoptive families who have been willing to open their hearts to our deserving dogs.
